A blog or a diary is the ideal place where you have your own personal space, where you can express your thoughts using your own language, it can be written at any time or place, and it acts as a comfort zone, a place entirely for your personal thoughts and feelings.
One difference between a blog and a paper diary is, a blog is read and commented on by others such as friends, family or a much wider audience on the web, whereas a diary is in most cases is kept in a single place, only being read by you and written in by yourself.
